{Wanderlust Wednesdays} Partoza Durian Farms
8/14/2013
The city of Davao is very famous for the Durian fruit. When it's on season, you can haggle the fruit for as low as P10.00 per kilo. But you know what's a better news to hear? I heard that somewhere in Tugbok District, you can eat durian for as much as you want at Partoza Durian Farms! Well, I hope that this promo is still available until now.
The Partoza Durian Farm is located in Tugbok District, which is an hour drive from the downtown part of Davao. It was actually a haven of peace and joy, and if you want a temporary escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, then this place is a perfect idea. There is no mobile or internet signal in this place making you temporarily forget all your stresses away.
This is not just an ordinary durian plantation or farm. Aside from being home to more than 500 trees of durian, this farm also has a livestock area and herb garden. Also, this place has been transformed from being a family-owned farm to a leisure destination catering to certain events like retreats, team-building activities and educational tours or just mere search for some peace and quiet.

Nice! That's why there's always a reason for "outsiders" like me to visit Davao City. Parang hindi ko na mauubos ang nasa listahan ko. I wouldn't hesitate to fly there for the third time. :)
ReplyDeleteI always fancy gardens like this. Zen!
