The month of August is celebrated in the Philippines as the Breastfeeding Month and there's no other better way to celebrate it than to come together as a community to listen and learn from one of the breastfeeding experts and pediatrician from Canada, Dr. Jack Newman.
As a medical professional, I highly encourage everyone, most especially parents, to take part of this event. I do believe that breastfeeding has limitless advantages and that it is very important to maintain this healthy practice. For more

(Lactation, Attachment, Training, Counseling, Help) is a hospital based
non-profit organization established in 2006 that offers quality lactation
education and peer counseling services to mothers who wish to breastfeed.
Latch
Peer Counselors are first of all breastfeeding mothers. Experiencing the
challenges and benefits of breastfeeding with the awareness that we all create
ripples that affect each other, a Latch Peer Counselor reaches out within her
own ever growing sphere to support, promote and protect breastfeeding.
Latch
Davao regularly holds breastfeeding talks with in the city and counseling with
in the community, we talk about evidence based data, information and practices
not anecdotes on breastfeeding.
