A Simple Prayer

Lord, grant me serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.
Lord, I pray for understanding and acceptance because it is only when we understand and accept the situation that we can learn and embrace change. I pray for the strength and the courage to face each day and every trial that comes along my way. I pray for forgiveness and the capacity to let go of all the things which aggravate the situation. I pray to thank you for the pain, for it is in pain that I feel more human and more motivated to learn from my mistakes.
I'm praying that at the end of all these troubles I'm facing right now, everything is going to make sense.
Let Your Will be done always. Amen.
