Review: Hair Treats Hair Spa in Argan Oil
10/10/2012
Have you noticed my new blog header? *wink*
If a blog header tells a lot about a blogger, I guess it also holds true for our crowning glory. Our hair can tell a lot about us - if we're manageable, frizzy or just plain straight and if we're having a good/bad hair day - and even our nutritional status. I know most of us girls always want to have salon-gorgeous hair everyday but unfortunately, some girls, count me in by the way, don't have enough to lavish ourselves with salon treatments thus, the dependence on home treatments.
While embarking in a journey to bring back the life in my hair, I recently stumbled upon one home treatment that I am currently loving now - Hair Treats Hair Spa in Argan Oil.
Hair Treats Hair Spa is a do-it-yourself home treatment which intends to nourish the hair by deep-conditioning it thus making the hair softer, shinier and more manageable. It also helps get rid of deep-seated dirt, irritants and dandruff brought about by not rinsing the hair properly. It is advisable that this be done at least once a week to revive healthy hair or may be done daily depending on the porosity and damage of the hair. I don't have the luxury of time to do this daily but I promise myself to do this more often.
The consistency of the product is just enough - not too thick nor even fluidy that it can easily be spread on the hair. The scent is just subtle and it doesn't smell like harsh chemicals unlike other products I've tried.
THE RESULT:
What I like:
- made my hair softer, shinier and more manageable just like what's indicated in the label.
- leaves a cool feeling on the scalp upon application
- doesn't made my permed hair dry
- my ends don't look brittle as it used to be
- made my hair less frizzy
- affordable (at only P79.00 for a small tub enough for 3-5 uses)
-available in local department stores
What I don't like:
- packaging is in a tub which is not suitable for travel
Will I repurchase:
Definitely. I love how this product can bring the life back in my hair without losing the curls. I find this as a good alternative for an expensive salon treatment plus doing home treatments can also help you make good use of your valuable time during the waiting process.

The Hair Treats Hair Spa is available in many variants but what caught my attention was the one in Argan Oil. I've been hearing lots of raves and hypes about this product so I quickly jumped into the bandwagon as well. For those who have no idea what Argan Oil is, read on. Argan Oil is actually an oil from the kernel of a plant Argania espinosa , which is endemic in Morocco, and has known to have numerous nutritive, medicinal and and cosmetic properties, thus making it a component in hair and skin care products. Sadly, I noticed that Argan Oil is just at the bottom of the ingredients list of this product so it may contain just a parcel of it.

nice post, I love Argan Oil. Looking forward to more :) http://plushpinkallure.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteI'm using Watson's Hair Spa Virgin Coconut Oil. Ok naman sya kasi naging soft and smooth yung hair ko. Kaso dapat ata araw araw gagamitin or every other day. Wala akong time magbabad ng buhok tuwing weekdays dahil busy sa work.
ReplyDeletepde bang kahit di ka na mag-blower, or wat so ever ?
ReplyDeleteyung watsons hair spa vrgin c.oil b dpat po b everyday i apply sa hair?
ReplyDeleteNow I'm trying the cocomilk (yellow bottle) and from the very first wash it is great.. my hair, it's more manageable than before. I'll just continue using it for the best result.
ReplyDeleteThis cured my hair. My hair became damaged after monthly coloring and semiannual perming. Which has been done for 3 straight years.
ReplyDeleteI stopped using shampoo, instead I used this everyday with a proper amount(I apply a very generous amount on one random shower, and it feels like I want to throw up) ~~~
ReplyDeleteand then I apply Creamsilk conditioner after, and after I towel dry, I apply Vitress Hair Polish. It doesn't cure automatically, you have to wait for 2 months, but brings life to my hair. No more doll hair.
Just a survivor: my hair!
Show some love!
