One for the Books: Liberalia 2014

I wish I could say that what happened in Liberalia 2014 stays only in Liberalia but to be honest, the night of March 15, 2014 at the Crocodile Park Concert Grounds, Davao City was epic enough to make one for the books. And before all my memories vanish again, major thanks to an amnesia-inducing venom named alcohol, I am now storing a few great moments here in this blog so that one day, I'll be proud enough to share to my grandchildren that in my life, I got to be a part of a wet and wild, crazy and dirty, one hell of a party that definitely made history.
Music, party and booze started dominating the concert grounds as early as three in the afternoon. Not only were we enjoying eargasmic music with Davao's local DJs, Antonio Tupas, Niel Recinto, Torch Gacuma and Wacky Masbad, but we were also tantalized with a breathtaking view of Davao's sunset, a symbolism that the best moments of that night are still about to come.
As the night time came, the crowd grew in numbers and got even wilder as the country's top DJs - Ace Ramos, Erwin Edralin, Surf, Reo Mendoza, Curse and Bless, Clyde Harris, Aliana Martinez and with the special participation of the Universo Robot - took over the stage and partied the night away. And of course, a neon glow party wouldn't be complete without being soaked and covered in glow paints and drenched under the pouring rain. Nothing could stop the people from partying, not even the rain. In fact, it even made the crowd crazier!

I was glad to spend the night with the presence of my #TeamSingle friends including new friends from Cagayan de Oro- Vashy, Princess, Marky and *insert name of the other guy here* (sorry, your name didn't sink in!)- who went all the way from their city to experience Liberalia 2014. Also, I got reunited with Photobomber couple, Darryl (who owns most of the photos here) and Anna, and met new friends of friends who were as hyped as I was that night.
I admit, I may had memory lapses later that night but rest assured that for every single time that I encounter the word Liberalia, I could say with all sincerity that Liberalia undeniably made it to being one of the most unforgettable experiences I had in my 27 years of existence.
Once again, thank you Smart Communications, Ms. Kat Dalisay of Manic Nightnings Productions, Wacky Masbad for inviting the #TeamSingle of Davao Bloggers and to all the DJs and friends who got wet, wild and crazy with us, thank you very much for a night of Araw ng Dabaw well-spent!
