{Wanderlust Wednesdays} Little Boracay Beach Resort at Sta. Maria

7/24/2013

Hello lovely readers!

Today, I just want to share with you about one of the hidden treasures located in the southern part of Mindanao Philippines - the Little Boracay at Sta. Maria, Davao del Sur.

Sta. Maria is a 2nd class municipality located in the province of Davao del Sur. It is approximately a 2-hr ride from Davao City. The road is a bit winding and there are some bumpy areas but the amazing view along the way makes the experience worth it.

One thing which is a bit of unusual is that along the way, you can observe the shoreline to be made up of black sand. But as you take the curve and see the glimpse of Little Boracay, voila! Just like magic, the shoreline is covered with white sand.

I was privileged to step into Little Boracay Beach Resort during the 2nd day of my DFAT 2013 Adventure. Little Boracay is one of our itineraries and this place did not only serve as a place to have our tummies filled up but we also got the chance to enjoy and appreciate the beauty of nature.

For those who are looking for a change in the usual scenery or in search of tranquility, maybe you can consider a quick escape to Little Boracay Beach Resort. Let your mind wander and enjoy the sights and sounds that this relaxing place has to offer.

But I'll make sure to ride an airplane na kasi ang hirap if bus lng. It's a 12hr drive from CDO-DAVAO. But its way cheaper din naman..:) thanks for this info cham! :)

  5. Well let me put that on my list. I just visited Davao City for the second time this past weekend and the city really never fails to amaze me. Hopefully I can give up everything here in Metro Manila and relocate there, haha (though I'm split between Davao City and Baguio City).

Anyway, one of the best things is that DC is just nearby to beaches. I already went to Samal Island before.

  10. I thought it was on Boracay! But then it's not but the place is like actually a Boracay. I would like to recommend to you this place on the Boracay and I am talking about 7 Stones Boracay, which located at Bulabog beach.

  11. for me the white beach path was the best , White Sand and crystal clear water. The best stretch is Station 1. There`s a nice cliff to walk along at the end of it.
